Many of you will have noticed that AEPMA has now succumbed to the force of social media and now has its own suite of “social” platforms on Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.

Hopefully our new breed of pest management professionals will adopt these and use them to both share ideas and find out what’s happening within the Australian Pest Management Industry, and no longer suffer from FOMO (Fear of missing out).

Already, I can see the power and potential of Facebook to encourage our industry to communicate amongst themselves.  Linkedin and specifically Linkedin groups will be a valuable forum for our dedicated technical people and experts within our industry to discuss ideas and supply appropriate responses and answers to the many questions AEPMA receives from consumers, members, and other authorities or parties each week.

I urge all Pest Managers, Pest Technicians and Inspectors, along with support staff of Pest Managers, to please  find us on Facebook and give us a “Like” and rating because this new platform is for you.

Likewise with Linkedin - if you have an idea for a technical or interest group associated around the Pest Management Industry, let us know and we will try to make it happen.

As this year’s AEPMA Conference in Sydney in August is fast approaching, I would urge all those that are planning to attend to get in early to register, as numbers for some of the events are limited and places are filling up fast.
