Over the years, we’ve brought women in pest management together across conferences, networking breakfasts and industry events. From packed rooms at Pesticon to smaller, more personal catch-ups, every event has been about creating a space where people feel welcome, included and supported.

You’ll find technicians, business owners, office teams, suppliers and industry leaders all in the same room – connecting, learning from each other and building relationships that continue well beyond the event itself.

The AWPMA Networking Breakfast returns in 2026, bringing women and allies from across the pest management industry together for a morning of connection, encouragement and genuine community.

Held on the morning of the conference at the FAOPMA Pest Summit 2026, this breakfast is more than another event on the program. It is a chance to pause, share a meal, meet new people and start the day surrounded by others who genuinely want to see each other do well.

Whether you are a technician, business owner, administrator, supplier, student, newcomer, long-time industry member or someone still finding your place in pest management, you are welcome.

This event is not about cliques. It is not about status. It is not about who already knows who, how long you have been in the industry, or whether you feel confident walking into a room full of people. It is about bringing a community together and making sure no one is left standing awkwardly in the corner.

Most importantly, it is about creating a space where people can show up as themselves, have real conversations and leave feeling more connected than when they arrived.

A breakfast built on connection

Industry events can be exciting, but they can also be intimidating, especially for those attending on their own, new to the industry, or not naturally comfortable with networking. That is exactly why the AWPMA Networking Breakfast matters.

From the moment guests arrive, the aim is simple: to make people feel welcome. There will be friendly faces, warm introductions, good food and plenty of opportunities to meet others without pressure or awkwardness.

You do not need an elevator pitch. You do not need to know everyone in the room. Just come along, grab a coffee, take a seat and be part of it.

While AWPMA exists to support and elevate women in pest management, the Networking Breakfast is not only for women. It is for everyone who believes our industry is stronger when people are included, supported and given the chance to thrive.

Meaningful change does not happen in isolation. It happens when people come together, listen to each other, learn from each other and make space for different voices and experiences.

Global Keynote Speaker, MC & Communication Coach

Meet our keynote speaker: Monique Bradley

This year, AWPMA is proud to welcome Monique Bradley as our keynote speaker. Monique is a global keynote speaker, MC, storyteller and public speaking coach who helps people communicate with clarity, confidence and authentic presence.

With more than 30 years of experience across stage, film, television and online media, Monique brings warmth, humour, skill and lived experience to her presentations. In 2025, she became the first person in the world to complete a Master of Creative Practice with First Class Honours focused specifically on keynote delivery.

Many women in pest management have had moments where they have had to find their voice, back themselves, step into unfamiliar spaces or prove that they belong. Monique’s keynote will speak to that experience in a way that is practical, uplifting and deeply human.

Her message is a reminder that you do not need to be the loudest person in the room to have something valuable to say. You just need to show up.
